So as the title suggests I'm looking for some beginner advice for getting into doing some woodcraft.  I'm mainly looking for suggestions on what projects are good to start with and what tools would be considered good investments for someone who is starting out.  In terms of tools I have collected so far for other things I have an electric drill, table vice, wood burning iron and tips, dremel kit, and a Japanese hand saw.  I've been talking with one of the local woodcraft shops in terms of classes for beginners and they certainly have a wide range of beginner to advanced classes to take but some of them do require tools and software too.

Whoops

I kind of forgot that I had a DA account.  ^.^;;

I will be trying to get some things together for posting and I'll be taking down most of if not all of the images related to SecondLife eventually.  I do apologize for the rather large lack of anything to be posted but life happened and I just really forgot about being on DA at all the last few years.

So how is everyone else?  Have I missed anything crazy fun?
